Restylane in Fort Lauderdale, FL

If you have begun to notice the effects of aging on your skin and would like to reverse them, Restylane® may be for you. Specially formulated to reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles in the skin, Restylane® can be administered to patients in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County at the Weston Center for Plastic Surgery by Nathan Eberle, MD, DDS or Pamela Miller, PA-C.

What Is Restylane®?

Restylane® is an injectable treatment that reduces the appearance of fine lines and facial wrinkles. This dermal filler injection “fills in” skin from the inside, making the surface of the skin smoother and plumper. The Restylane® solution contains hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the skin. In addition to smoothing wrinkles, injections of this dermal filler are also commonly used to enhance facial areas, such as the lips, cheeks, and chin by adding volume.

Restylane® uses hyaluronic acid, an organically occurring element in the skin that binds with water to provide your skin with necessary nutrients that attract moisture, plumping and filling out contours in your skin from the inside. The result is firm, supple skin that has increased volume and elasticity. Patients rave over the benefits of Restylane®, including the following:

  • Effects of aging are noticeably reversed.
  • Quick, easy, virtually painless procedure.
  • Immediate, satisfying results in as little as one procedure.
  • Use of ingredients that naturally occur in the skin.
  • Boosted self-esteem and confidence in your appearance
  • Can go back to work immediately

Is Restylane® Right For Me?

If your skin has started to lose volume and is sagging into lines and wrinkles, this treatment may be right for you. Most Restylane® treatments are performed on people who find that their skin has begun showing signs of aging but aren’t ready to commit to surgical fixes, like facelift surgery. This technique is available for most adults in good general health.

How Involved Is The Restylane® Procedure?

Restylane® can be injected in our office and takes just a few minutes. No incisions or anesthesia are needed, though a topical numbing cream can be used to help patients feel more comfortable. Through a thin needle, Restylane® gel is delivered into the targeted facial area. This clear gel enhances skin volume, filling in skin wrinkles from the inside. After the injections have been administered, you can leave our office immediately.

How Long Is The Recovery After Restylane®?

This “lunchtime procedure” requires no downtime. Many patients return to work immediately after leaving our office. There are no bandages required, though you may experience mild side effects, such as bruising, swelling or tenderness. These side effects will subside in a day or two. Dental work and massage should be avoided for two weeks following the procedure. The full results of your dermal filler injection will be visible in under a week, and last as long as six months.

How Much Does Restylane® Cost?

Most Restylane® treatments require either 1cc or 2cc of injectable filler to achieve the patient’s aesthetic goals. This makes Restylane® among the most affordable options for reducing wrinkles and rejuvenating your appearance. Often, patients opt for this non-invasive treatment instead of more expensive, invasive options. Financing is available.
