8 Week Weight Loss ProgramSemaglutide or Tirzepatide

with Dr. Nathan Eberle

A structured eight-week, physician-led weight management protocol using FDA-approved GLP-1 injectables. Weekly check-ins, dose titration, and measured progress at Weston Center for Plastic Surgery.

The Program

8-Week Weight Loss Program

Semaglutide or Tirzepatide

Combined with low-carb, low-fat eating built around lean protein and fresh produce, plus 30 minutes of daily activity, patients on Semaglutide lose an average of 15% of body weight in a year. In a 68-week trial of 2.4 mg Semaglutide, patients without diabetes with a BMI > 30 (or > 27 with comorbidities) lost an average of 15% of body weight. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are FDA-approved for weight loss; both are prescribed and supervised throughout the program.

Drug 01

Semaglutide

An FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist for chronic weight management and Type 2 diabetes. Administered subcutaneously once per week.

There's a Reason Everyone Is Talking About Semaglutide. It Works!

How It Works

How Does It Work?

Semaglutide mimics the GLP-1 hormone your body already produces, slowing digestion and helping your brain regulate appetite. You feel fuller longer, eat less, and reset your biological set point. In clinical trials, patients combining Semaglutide with lifestyle changes lost an average of 9% of body weight at 20 weeks and 14.9% at 68 weeks.

Administration

How Do You Take Semaglutide Injections?

One subcutaneous injection per week into the stomach, thigh, or arm. The needle is small and designed to minimize discomfort. Dosing starts low, typically 0.25 mg weekly, and titrates upward over the first few months toward a steady maintenance dose of up to 2.4 mg, paced to your tolerance.

B12 Combo

Paired With Cyanocobalamin

Semaglutide is combined with B12 (Cyanocobalamin 500mcg/mL) to help reduce nausea. Dosing typically runs 0.2 mL once weekly for the first 4-5 weeks, then steps up to 0.4 mL once weekly for the remaining weeks.

The Schedule

Dr. Eberle's 8 Week Weight Management Program

A combination of weekly Semaglutide (or Tirzepatide) and B12 injections paced across eight weeks of supervised check-ins.

Week 1

Your first injection is administered at Weston Center for Plastic Surgery. A registered nurse trains you to self-administer for the remainder of the program and sends you home with supplies. Baseline photos, measurements, weight, and height are taken.

Weeks 2 - 8

You self-administer your once-weekly injection at home or work. Stay consistent with the day and time you choose in Week 1.

Week 4 or 5

Mid-program check-in. We take fresh photos, measurements, and weight, and adjust your Semaglutide or Tirzepatide dose based on tolerance and progress.

Week 8

Final check-in. We compare your results against baseline and decide together whether to wrap the program or continue for another eight weeks.

Results vary by patient and depend on transitioning into healthier eating habits and consistent daily exercise alongside the medication.

Drug 02

Tirzepatide

A once-weekly dual-receptor injectable. Combines GLP-1 and GIP activity for appetite suppression, blood-sugar regulation, and improved cardiometabolic measures.

How It Works

What is Tirzepatide?

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly injectable dual receptor agonist for both GLP-1 and GIP. It increases insulin production, lowers glucagon secretion, and targets the brain regions that regulate appetite and food intake. A molecular tweak lets the drug last weeks in the body rather than the minutes the natural hormone lasts.

What It Does

How Does Tirzepatide Work?

Decreased appetite and cravings, weight loss, A1C reduction, and improved cardiometabolic measures. Tirzepatide slows stomach emptying so meals feel filling at smaller portions, slows intestinal motility so fullness lasts longer, and the GIP component increases energy expenditure.
