What is Labiaplasty?

A labiaplasty is an elective surgical procedure that is designed to reduce the size of or reshape the labia minora, improving the overall appearance of the area. The labia minora are the two small folds of skin that extend backward on each side of the opening into the vagina. They can be found inside the labia majora which are the larger lips that cover the entire vaginal area.

Liposuction vs. Tummy Tuck

The abdominal area of our body is one of the most well known for being affected by stubborn, excess fat. As a result, it is also one of the parts of our appearance that many of us feel self-conscious about and would like to improve upon if we can. Diet and exercise can help to shift some abdominal fat, but for many people, it seems impossible to achieve the smooth, flat and toned abdomen that they would like.

What is the difference between Juvéderm and Botox?

If your face is betraying the signs of your advancing years, you may be considering a cosmetic treatment to help you turn back the clock and eliminate some of the fine lines, wrinkles, folds and sagging that tend to occur as we get older. Fortunately, patients no longer necessarily need to resort to going under the knife to achieve smoother, rejuvenated and more youthful skin. There are now more non-surgical but highly effective cosmetic treatments available than ever before. Some of these are known as injectables because, as their name suggests, they are injected into the skin. With a range of different injectable treatments to choose from, you could be forgiven for getting them confused. Particularly as, although their method of administration is the same, the actual substances themselves can have very different effects.

What to Expect Post Liposuction

Liposuction remains an extremely popular cosmetic surgery procedure, and one of the only effective ways to successfully tone up and improve the shape and appearance of those areas of the body that don’t respond to diet and exercise. These typically include the abdomen, hips, thighs, flanks, buttocks and upper arms. The procedure itself involves the insertion of a narrow, metal tube into the target area which is then moved back and forth to loosen excess fat, which is then removed via gentle suction. Only small incisions are made, leading to liposuction being referred to as minimally-invasive. However, this doesn’t mean that you won’t need to take some time off to recover and heal following your procedure.
