MiniFacelift

with Dr. Nathan Eberle

The “weekend facelift,” a less invasive way to tighten loose skin along the jawline, cheek, and neck. Made for busy professionals who want refined definition without the full-facelift recovery window.

Overview

What Is a Mini Facelift?

The mini facelift tightens loose, sagging skin along the jawline and beneath the chin for a firmer facial contour and a more youthful appearance. Popular among men and women, it is sometimes performed alongside blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery, and injectable fillers may also be used to round out the result.

Also called a “weekend facelift,” this technique is the go-to for Fort Lauderdale and Broward County patients who want a rejuvenated face without the recovery window of a full facelift. Performed by double board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Nathan Eberle at Weston Center for Plastic Surgery.

Benefits

Benefits of a Mini Facelift

Why patients choose a mini facelift over a conventional full-face procedure.

Less Invasive
A simpler, less expensive procedure than the conventional full facelift, with a recovery measured in days rather than weeks.
Natural-Looking
Many patients find the results more natural than those achieved with a conventional facelift.
Defined Jawline
Tightens and firms the lower face, producing a noticeable jawline and a more streamlined neckline.

Is a Mini Facelift Right for Me?

Mini facelifts are performed on patients who have started to notice visible effects of aging. The technique is right for you if most of the wrinkles and sagging skin sit in the lower portion of your face, including the cheek, neck, and jaw. Many patients are busy professionals who are not prepared to undergo the more invasive full facelift or commit to its lengthy recovery.

The Procedure

How Involved Is the Surgery?

Less invasive than a full facelift, but still a real surgical procedure covering a large portion of the face.

The mini facelift requires general anesthesia and takes two to three hours to perform. While less invasive than the full facelift, it is still a real surgical procedure covering a large portion of the face.

Dr. Eberle makes short incisions behind the hairline and in the natural creases of the skin. The skin, muscles, and fat of the face and neck are lifted, trimmed, and sculpted. Sutures close the incisions cleanly.
